Yellow, Red and Purple Line trains are running after service was halted Tuesday during the evening rush hour due to “track switching problems.”

The CTA first announced that Red, Yellow and Purple Line trains were standing at the Howard station about 5:43 p.m., CTA said.

Trains were running with delays about 6:05 p.m., CTA said. Normal service was restored later in the evening.
