A man was killed in a vehicle crash Thursday in west suburban North Riverside.
The collision happened about 9:38 p.m. at Des Plaines Avenue and 31st Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
When officers arrived they found a vehicle flipped on its side with the driver pinned inside, North Riverside police said.
The 22-year-old was was pulled out of the vehicle and taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
An autopsy released Friday found he died of multiple injuries from the crash, and his death was ruled an accident, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in Berwyn.
The crash remains under investigation by North Riverside police and the West Suburban Major Crimes Task Force’s Major Crash Unit.
