Four people were injured early Saturday when a vehicle crashed and rolled over during a chase involving another vehicle in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

Police said a car was being chased southbound in the 6900 block of South Halsted Street at 2:10 a.m. when it struck a vehicle waiting to turn left at the intersection of 69th Street. The vehicle that caused the crash rolled over, police said.

The vehicle that was struck was pushed into a third vehicle, police said.

A four occupants in the vehicles in the initial crash, all adults, were taken to hospitals in good condition, police said. The occupant of the third vehicle refused medical treatment.

The driver that caused the crash was issued two tickets for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and for failing to keep in lane, police said.
