A man was wounded Sunday after being shot on Interstate 57 near south suburban Calumet Park.

About 2:40 a.m., four men were northbound on I-57 near 127th Street when someone shot into their vehicle, Illinois State police said. A 25-year-old man in the back seat was struck in both arms and was taken to Metro South Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Lanes were closed as investigators combed the scene but were opened about 7 a.m., state police said.

A few weeks ago, three teens were hurt in a shooting on I-57 near Blue Island.
