Woman hurt in Lower Wacker Drive crash in Loop

A man was fatally struck by a vehicle Oct. 23, 2019, in unincorporated Crystal Lake. — A woman was hurt in a crash in the 400 block of East Lower Wacker Drive July 6, 2019, in the Loop.

A 29-year-old woman was hurt in a vehicle crash Saturday in the Loop.

About 11:15 a.m., she was driving south on Lake Shore Drive and was struck by a 48-year-old man in a Toyota Camry at the intersection in the 400 block of East Lower Wacker Drive, Chicago police said.

The woman’s vehicle flipped on its side from the impact, police said. She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with pain on her left side. Her condition was stabilized.

No citations were issued in the incident, police said.
