The body of a 29-year-old man was found in a portable restroom Sunday in the parking lot of the center on the Far South Side, police said.

A body was found in a portable restroom in the parking lot of the The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Sunday in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

About 5:45 p.m., officers discovered the body of a 29-year-old man in a portable restroom in the 1200 block of West 119th Street, Chicago police said.

Area South detectives are investigating but believe the man died of an overdose, a Chicago police source said.

An autopsy Monday did not rule on the cause and manner of the man’s death pending further investigation.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
