At least six people were hurt Tuesday when a shuttle bus crashed into a Chicago police squad car at O’Hare International Airport.

About 3:15 p.m., officers were conducting a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Bessie Coleman Drive when their squad car was rear-ended by an airport shuttle bus, Chicago police said. As a result of the impact, a CPD vehicle struck a Honda.

One person in the Honda and four people in the bus were taken to Resurrection Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. A Chicago police officer was taken to a hospital.

Nine people involved in the crash refused medical treatment, police said.
