Three people ran away from a crash that sent a car into a building Wednesday in the West Loop.

Someone called 911 at 12:59 p.m. to report a crash at Elizabeth Street and Washington Boulevard, according to preliminary information from Chicago police. The caller said three males got out of a gray vehicle after the crash and ran.

A gray car with front-end damage could be seen on the sidewalk with it rear end having hit a nearby building. A white SUV with front-end damage could also been seen in the intersection with front-end damage.

It is unknown whether anyone was injured, according to police and fire officials.
