2 seriously injured in Will County crash

A Toyota Camry was traveling on West Offner Road about 10 a.m. when it turned onto US Route 52 at the intersection and was t-boned by a Ford Focus.

Two drivers were seriously injured in a crash Monday morning in Will County near suburban Manhattan.

A Toyota Camry was traveling on West Offner Road about 10 a.m. when it turned onto US Route 52 at the intersection and was t-boned by a Ford Focus, according to Illinois State Police.

The driver of the Toyota, a 55-year-old woman from Du Bois, and the driver of the Camry, a 55-year-old man from Manteno, were both taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, state police said. They were listed in serious condition.

State police said an investigation was ongoing.
