Couple seriously hurt in house fire in Norwood Park

The blaze broke out in the 5800 block of North Oriole Avenue, according to Chicago fire officials.

A couple in their 60s were hospitalized after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon in a Norwood Park home on the Northwest Side.

The blaze started after 3 p.m. in the 5800 block of North Oriole Avenue, according to Chicago fire officials.

Two adults suffered smoke inhalation and were transported to hospitals in serious-to-critical condition, fire officials said.
