A truffle BLT, fried chicken or catfish strips are just some of the foods you can grab when Food Truck Fest returns to Daley Plaza.
A rotating lineup of six food trucks will set up between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning July 30 through Oct. 15
The city’s Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection is bringing back the six-year favorite after a hiatus because of the pandemic.
“As people return to work and businesses reopen, Food Truck Fest is a great way to celebrate how far we have come in the fight against COVID-19 while supporting small businesses at the same time,” BACP Commissioner Rosa Escareno said.
Previous years have featured Chicago favorites like Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp, Harold’s Chicken and The Fat Shallot.
“Chicago is the culinary capital of the country, and we are thrilled to bring our amazing food trucks back to the Loop every Friday later this summer,” Escareno said.
