The woman was riding the CTA Pink Line about 9:30 p.m. when a group of men believed to be in their 20s approached her and stole her cellphone, Chicago police said.

The men ran from a train station as the woman chased after them, police said.

One of the men then sexually assaulted the woman in an alley in the 4300 block of West Cullerton Street, police said.

The men also stole several other belongings from the woman before fleeing.

Two of the men were last seen wearing white T-shirts and jeans, police said. Another wore a black T-shirt, black shorts, black socks and black slippers. The fourth wore a black T-shirt and jeans, according to police. All of the men wore face masks.
