Typically, Roger Goodell attends the very first NFL game of the season. Whether it had anything to do with Tom Brady or not, Goodell skipped the season opener and instead came to Chicago.

The NFL commissioner was on the field in Chicago before the Bears and Packers game. Goodell bumped into new Bears head coach John Fox and delivered this gem of a picture.

Goodell isn’t the only controversial figure in the crowd. Also in attendance is Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel and former Vice President Dick Cheney.

The Bears are underdogs Sunday against the Packers. If things go as expected, fans in Soldier Field may not have the friendliest of welcomes for the three public figures.
