Throughout the season, Jay Cutler has continued to compliment his offensive coordinator. Now, as Adam Gase is headed to Miami to be the Dolphins head coach, Cutler continues to dole out the compliments.

When asked about Gase leaving, Cutler said he couldn’t be happier for Gase.

Cutler’s comments repeat many of the same things he’s said since the start of the offseason when it appeared likely Gase would be offered a head coaching job.

The Bears quarterback has also spoken on the odds on favorite to take Gase’s position, quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains. Cutler said in his short time with the team, Loggains has already been a big help.

The added bonus Loggains would bring is at least a form of consistency for the offense. If Loggains became the offensive coordinator, he would bring with him many of the same beliefs that Gase held.

The Bears have made no decision on the future of the position yet.
