Pau Gasol defied Chicagoans last year when he said he didn’t like deep dish pizza, but the classic Chicago fare has a fan inBears lineman Kyle Long.

Speaking to 670 The Score, Long said he actually tried to order a deep dish pizza while in San Francisco in advanceof Super Bowl 50

“I’m a big fan of deep dish and I can’t find it on the West Coast,” Long said. “I’m getting skinny. I need dough, I need fresh tomatoes and I need a lot of cheese.”

The Pro Bowler’s comments couldn’t be further from Gasol’s, who said deep dish pizza was “just a cake of melted cheese.”

Long knows the way to a Chicagoan’s heart. Although a winning season couldn’t hurt, either.
