Bears coach Matt Nagy said Monday he wouldn’t discuss injuries this week because he doesn’t have to file an injury report until Sept. 9.

With plenty of absences to explain Tuesday, he reiterated he was “going to stay away from it.”

Other players not in attendance Tuesday were nose tackle John Jenkins and outside linebackers Trevis Gipson and Isaiah Irving.

Defensive end Akiem Hicks remained out with a quad injury suffered almost two weeks ago. Swing tackle Jason Spriggs is still nursing a knee injury.
