The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed Tuesday that 69 more people have died of coronavirus-related causes.

The county’s total now stands at 650 deaths, the medical examiner’s office said.

Earlier in the day, Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced 74 more statewide deaths. Cook County residents make up about 75% of the 868 coronavirus deaths in Illinois.
