Vehicle thefts reported in Brighton Park, Bridgeport and Fuller Park

In each case, someone took vehicles that had keys inside them, police said.

Police are warning South Side residents about a string of motor vehicle thefts reported in October and November in Brighton Park, Bridgeport and Fuller Park.

In each case, someone stole a vehicle that had its keys left inside, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The thefts happened:

  • Between 4:20 a.m. and 5 a.m. Oct. 22 in the 3400 block of South California Avenue;
  • At 9:13 p.m. Oct. 27 in the 500 block of West Pershing Road;
  • Between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. Nov. 5 in the 4200 block of South Campbell Avenue; and
  • At 7:45 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 5400 block of South Wells Street.

A description of any suspects wasn’t immediately available.
