A man was shot multiple times Wednesday while attempting to break up a fight in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

The 32-year-old was among a group of people on the street in the 11500 block of South Perry Avenue when a male pulled out a handgun and fired shots, Chicago police said.

He was hit twice in the back, once in the elbow and once in the buttocks about 4:20 p.m., police said. He was brought to Roseland Community Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
