A burglary took place June 2, 2019, in the 1800 block of North Wolcott Avenue.

Police are advising people to keep their homes safe after three burglaries were reported this month in Bucktown.

In each case, someone snuck into the homes through a window and stole jewelry and money from inside, Chicago police said in an alert.

The burglaries happened:

• About 3 a.m. June 2 in the 1800 block of North Wolcott Avenue;

• Between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 5 in the 1700 block of North Honore Street; and

• Between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of West North Avenue.
