Two teens were wounded Tuesday after they were shot in Rogers Park on the North Side.

They were outside about 9:30 p.m. in the 7300 block of North Rogers Avenue when they heard shots and realized they were struck, Chicago police said.

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg, and a 15-year-old boy was hit in the ankle, police said. The pair took themselves to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston and are in good condition.

The boys did not offer a description of who shot them, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
