Chicago police are searching for three people who robbed a restaurant July 20 in the South Shore community area.

About 1:30 a.m., the suspects entered the restaurant in the 6800 block of South Stony Island Avenue armed with a semi-automatic handgun and robbed about five people, Chicago police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
