Two men were wounded in a shooting Saturday in Gresham on the South Side.

About 2:07 a.m., they were in the backyard of a home in the 7500 block of South Sangamon Street when someone appeared from an alley and unleashed gunfire, Chicago police said.

The men, 23 and 24, were both struck in the leg and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said. Their conditions were stabilized.

No arrests have been reported. Area South detectives are investigating.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
