Man fatally stabbed in Aurora

A man was found suffering from multiple stab wounds and died Saturday in west suburban Aurora.

About 5:15 a.m., officers received calls of a person stabbed in the 600 block of Hinman Street and found the man outside of a home with multiple stab wounds, Aurora police said.

Paramedics took 51-year-old Marvin Dean to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, where he was later pronounced dead, police and the Kane County coroner said. An autopsy found he died of a stab wound to the chest.

No one was in custody. Police said they believe the stabbing was an isolated incident.
