Police are warning Northwest Side residents about vandals targeting parked vehicles in November and December in Cragin.

In each case, someone spray-painted or smeared paint on vehicles parked on the street, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The incidents happened:

  • Between 10:15 a.m. Nov. 15 and 8:50 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 4800 block of West Montana Street;
  • Between 10 p.m. Nov. 26 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 27 in the 4900 block of West Montana Street;
  • About 6:53 a.m. Dec. 9 in the 4800 block of West Montana Street; and
  • Between 12:01 a.m. and 9 a.m. Dec. 21 in the 4900 block of West Montana Street.

No suspect description was available.
