A 19-year-old man was fatally shot in Humboldt Park Thursday afternoon.

A 19-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday in Humboldt Park.

About 3:10 p.m., Mack Harris was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest by officers in the 3400 block of West Ohio Street, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
