A man died in January more than a decade after he was shot in Gresham on the South Side.

Otis Walker, 62, was shot just after midnight Aug. 3, 2009, in the 8700 block of South Honore Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Walker, who lived in Canaryville, died Jan. 21 of complications of a gunshot wound to the torso, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.
