Three people were killed in separate crashes across the Chicago area during a winter storm early Saturday.

A man died after he was hit by an SUV Saturday in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

Carolos Estrada, 38, was crossing the street about 8:35 p.m. in the 4100 block of West 31st Street when he was struck by a white SUV, authorities said.

The SUV drove off east on 31st Street, Chicago police said.

Estrada, who lived in Little Village, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy showed Estrada died of multiple injuries from being struck by a vehicle, and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

The CPD Major Accidents unit is investigating.
