A CPD squad car and a CFD ambulance crashed into each other Oct. 19, 2019 while responding to a shooting in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

A teenage boy was shot Tuesday in South Deering.

The boy, 16, was outside about 5:25 p.m. on East 106th Street when someone fired shots, striking him in the arm, Chicago police said.

The boy was taken to Trinity Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area South detectives are investigating.
