Man found fatally shot in Chatham

A man was fatally shot inside a home Sunday in Chatham on the South Side.

About 1:45 p.m., Antwan K. Williams was found inside a residence in the 8100 block of South Drexel Avenue, with a gunshot wound to his armpit, Chicago police said.

Williams, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was one of at least 22 people shot over the weekend in Chicago.
