A 20-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by Tuesday in Englewood on the South Side.

About 12:25 a.m., he was the front passenger of a vehicle when a gray SUV pulled up alongside him in the 5900 block of South Laflin Street, and someone inside fired shots before fleeing, Chicago police said.

The man was struck in the right buttocks and brought to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said.

Area One detectives are investigating.
