A man was was shot to death early Friday in West Town.
The man, 38, was found lying on the sidewalk in the 400 block of North Oakley Boulevard about 2 a.m., Chicago police said.
He had a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
He was identified as Jamal Jefferson, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.
No one was in custody.
