A man was shot walking home on the Far South Side Thursday.

A man was shot late Thursday while walking home on the Far South Side.

The 21-year-old man was walking in the 10200 block of South State Street when he was shot in the abdomen, chest and thigh about 11:40 p.m., Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
