One of the greatest imports Chicago receives all year is this open-air holiday market that takes over Daley Plaza, inspired by the centuries-old tradition in Nuremberg, Germany.

Drink spiced gluhwein in the beer tent; nosh on a butcher’s dozen of sausages; find handcrafted ornaments from real Bavarian vendors, and save room for the sweet house.
