Sounds like Liam Neeson is enjoying making suspense-thriller films — and he’s going to continue with the genre with his next movie. Deadline.com reports the actor will star as the title character in “The Commuter,” slated to begin filming in New York next spring.

Neeson will play a business executive on his daily commute home who unwittingly gets involved in a criminal conspiracy — threatening not only him but those close to him. In “The Commuter,” the actor will again team up with the production group with whom he made the thrillers “Non-Stop” and “Unknown.”

Of course, other recent thrillers or crime-themed films Neeson has toplined have included the three “Taken” films, “Run All Night,” and “A Walk Among the Tombstones.”
