An 18-year-old man was shot late Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Officers responded about 11:10 p.m. to a call of a person shot in the 700 block of West 129th Place and found the man being loaded into a waiting ambulance with a gunshot wound to the head, according to Chicago Police. Details on the circumstances of the shooting were unknown.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
