A man was found shot to death Sunday afternoon in the Longwood Manor neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Demetrius Miller, 20, was found unresponsive about 4:30 p.m. in the backyard of a home in the 9800 block of South Peoria, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Miller had a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced at scene at 4:53 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

An autopsy Monday found he died of a gunshot wound to the buttocks, the medical examiner’s office said.
