“Dancing With the Stars” loses another high-stepper — but you didn’t vote this one out.

Brooke Burke apparently confirmed today that injured beach volleyball athlete Misty May-Treanor will be sitting out the televised ballroom dance reality TV show.

“It’s such a sad situation. She did hurt her Achilles tendon. I don’t know if she tore it or ruptured it,” Brooke told a Los Angeles radio station this morning. “She’s out of the competition. Just like that, it’s over for her. The sad thing…this is her jumping mechanism. We’re all really concerned for her. She may be having surgery this week. We don’t know yet. It’s such a bummer.”
