The idea was that Lindsay Lohan was going to be an incarnate to Elizabeth Taylor, who like Lohan, was a child star who went on to become a tabloid magnet as an adult.
But the critics say that Lohan didn’t do Taylor justice in “Liz and Dick,” which tells the saga of Taylor and her twice husband, Richard Burton. They were a little kinder with Grant Bowler’s performance of Burton.
