Oct. 10 marks the 200th birthday of composer Giuseppe Verdi, and in celebration, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Riccardo Muti, along with the Chicago Symphony Chorus and vocal soloists, are presenting Verdi’s Requiem Mass at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10 in a worldwide live webcast from Symphony Center. It is the first live stream undertaken by the symphony. The Sun-Times has partnered with the CSO to present the live webcast here; you can also follow on Twitter at #csoverdi.
