SHARE Northwestern left tackle Jack Konopka hurt, returns in fourth quarter

Northwestern junior left tackle Jack Konopka appeared to injured his knee in the third quarter of the Wildcats’ game against Ohio State at home Saturday.

Currently he is being looked at by Northwestern’s training staff.

Sophomore Shane Mertz came in at left tackle. Konopka is one of two members of Northwestern’s offensive line who started last season.

Konopka returned to action in the fourth quarter.
