McClellin practices in full for Bears

SHARE McClellin practices in full for Bears

Shea McClellin practiced in full Thursday, the latest step in his recovery from the injured hamstring that has caused the Bears defensive end to miss the last two games. It marked his second-straight full practice, making his return to the field Sunday a near-certainty.

Nickelback Isaiah Frey, who has a broken hand, and safety Craig Steltz, recovering from a concussion, were limited.

Longsnapper Patrick Mannelly (calf) and right tackle Jordan Mills also practiced in full, coach Marc Trestman said.

The coach cut practice short by about 10 minutes, mindful the Bears are playing a team fresh off a bye week.
