Chris Conte checked Twitter on Sunday and found hateful, vengeful notes from Bears fans.

Problem was, he wasn’t the Bears safety who was part of the team’s zone defense breakdown on Aaron Rodgers’ last-minute touchdown.

He’s a reporter for NewsChannel 5 in Nashville, Tenn.

Conte did a report on the case of mistaken identity — in which fans wished death and disease upon him.
