J'Marcus Webb, Armando Allen, Fendi Onobun among 17 Bears cuts; Roster down to 56

Offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb, running back Armando Allen, tight end Fendi Onobun and quarterbacks Jordan Palmer and Trent Edwards were among 17 players cut by the Bears on Friday, the team announced.

The Bears must cut their roster to 53 players by Saturday. With safety Brandon Hardin (shoulder) and offensive tackle Cory Brandon (broken leg) out with injuries, the Bears still need to cut three players to reach the 53-player limit.
