It’s that time again: The Emmys red carpet pregame.

Julia Louis Dreyfus

6:53 p.m. Julia Louis Dreyfus told off by Giuliana Rancic. “Did you photobomb the manicam?” How very Elaine of you.

6:46 p.m. After almost two hours, Stacy London calls it.

6:44 p.m.: January Jones wearing a pale pink custom Givenchy gown. Seems that No. 1 spot on the Fashion crew’s list was a bit optimistic.

6:42: Julie Bowen went “a little hungry” eschewing carbohydrates to wear her dress this evening.

6:29: Did not know Clare Danes and Lena Dunham are childhood besties. From the same hood. And the pair squealed in such glee it knocked Ryan Seacrest off his perch.

Allison Williams

6:20 p.m.: Allison Williams wearing Ralph Lauren. But no matter what she says, I only hear her singing Kanye’s “Stronger” on “Girls.”6:11 p.m.: Finally! Elizabeth Moss admits she watches all of the “Real Housewives” shows, and would be intimidated by meeting Teresa Guidice.

6:10: Who told Elizabeth Moss she looks like Miley Cyrus? Stevie Wonder?

6:06 p.m.: Liberace and the undercover cop on “Will and Grace.” Gay characters on Michael Douglas’ resume.

6:03 p.m.: Anna Faris apologizes for the ManiCam fail.

Sarah Silverman

6:01 p.m.

Sarah Silverman says she scored her dress online for $60. She totally should start a Keep collection.5:59 p.m.

Perhaps it’s the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s “Madame X” by John Singer Sargeant?

Madame X by John Singer Sargeant, part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s permanent collection

Anna Gunn

5:53: Pretty in pink? Breaking Bad’s Anna Gunn adds lace to a pale pink gown.Zooey Deschanel’s ring

5:52: Zooey Deschanel rocks a giant blue rock, which is infinitely more interesting than her J. Mendel ice-blue gown.5:32: Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Wearing Naperville’s Tie Bar line?

Heidi Klum

5:24: Ryan Seacrest calls Heidi Klum’s dress stunning. It’s either purple or pomegranate. But it’s certainly sequined. A sequined S&M dog collar.

Zosia Mamet wears Honor.

5:15: Hey E….with subtitles, you can’t see the dang nails on the ManiCam. On another note, what is Zosia Mamet censoring her chest?

5:07: Morticia Addams-inspired lace gown. And fascinator. Intriguing choice.

5:05 p.m. UPDATE: E Online returns with the ManiCam and the GlamCam. And so here goes the cable channel’s contribution to filling an hour of red carpet arrivals.

E Online gives viewers the style five to watch this evening:

Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham is up for best actress in a comedy series. While Hannah’s Brooklyn runway isn’t on par with her elder sisters from Sex and the City, the witty Dunham makes certain to glam it up when she’s not in character.

Big Bang Theory’s Kelly Cuoco

Big Bang Theory’s Kelly Cuoco chose a yellow Angel Sanchez gown in 2012. The E Fashion Police rated her as the number four celeb to watch tonight. Yellow was the hue for the season last fall. Will she continue bold choices on the Pantone spectrum?

January Jones

January Jones ranks number 3 on E’s list. Kelly says she one of the only stars who truly takes fashion risks. George says she doesn’t care about making fashion lists, while Guiliana says Jones always “goes big or goes home.”

Emilia Clarke

Number two? Emilia Clarke. The “Game of Thrones” heroine has no fear when stepping out on red carpets.

Kerry Washington

Shocker of shocker, People magazine’s Best Dressed Woman and star of “Scandal” Kerry Washington tops the list for the Fashion Police’s best dressed ladies to watch this evening. And here’s a storify of what’s happening before the show begins:
