The White Sox outrighted catcher Miguel Gonzalez to AAA Charlotte on Monday.

Gonzalez, 22, received an unexpected callup after Tyler Flowers left the team to have shoulder injury.

He played in four games, starting one, and went 2-for-9 after his contract was purchased from Charlotte on September 3. Between AA Birmingham and Charlotte he hit .254 with two home runs and 20 RBI over 53 games.

The Sox 40-man roster stands at 39.
