SHARE 14-year-old girl missing from Northwest Side

Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who is missing from the Northwest Side, but is active on social media.

Demarys Gonzalez was last seen Thursday night in her bedroom in the 2300 block of North Merrimac, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

She is described as a 5-foot-4, 120-pound Hispanic girl with black hair, brown eyes and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing Cookie Monster pajamas.

Police said Demarys is active on social media and may be passing herself off as older.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8266.
