SHARE Police warning of burglaries in Hyde Park, Kenwood

Police are warning residents about residential burglaries in the South Side Hyde Park and Kenwood neighborhoods in October and November.

In each incident, at least one person has entered a residence through the rear door or basement, according to a Chicago Police alert.

The burglaries have occurred in the 5100 block of South Kimbark on Oct. 15, in the 5100 block of South Hyde Park on Oct. 16, in the 4300 block of South Kimbark on Oct. 21 and in the 5400 block of South Woodlawn on Nov. 4, police said.
