Authorities are searching for a woman who robbed a bank Friday afternoon in the Wicker Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The woman robbed the North Community Bank branch at 1555 N. Damen Ave. at 3:34 p.m., according to the FBI.

She is described as a 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-5 Hispanic woman in her 20s to early 30s, with brown eyes, brown hair and a tattoo on her neck, the FBI said. She was carrying a backpack and had wires around her waist.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the FBI’s Chicago office at (312) 421-6700.
