Four people are dead and at least 31 others have been wounded in shootings across the city since Friday night.

The most recent fatal shooting happened early Sunday in the Logan Square neighborhood.

Cindy Bahena, 21, was in the backseat of a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 3500 block of West Fullerton Avenue at 12:25 a.m. when a group of males standing on a nearby sidewalk shouted gang slogans and fired shots, authorities said.

Bahena, of the 200 block of North Laramie Avenue, was taken to Norwegian-American Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 12:47 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Police said the male driver of the vehicle is a known gang member, and Bahena was not the intended target of the shooting. No one is in custody early Sunday.

Early Saturday, a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Jaquez Williams was standing in the 5500 block of West North Avenue about 2 a.m. when someone approached him and shot him in the head, authorities said.

About 45 minutes earlier, a man was killed and a woman was wounded in a shooting in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

The two were inside a home in the 5400 block of South Winchester Avenue when someone outside opened fire.

A 19-year-old woman also inside suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in “stable” condition, police said.

Late Friday, a 32-year-old woman was fatally shot in the West Pullman neighborhood.

Police found Leonore Draper inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to her arm in 1300 block of West 116th Street, where officers originally heard gunshots, authorities said.

The most recent non-fatal shooting occurred about 6 a.m. Sunday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
